He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Oscar Dittmar and Marilyn Prinkey (Ward); his wife Beth Dittmar (Newman) of Freeport, IL; his children, Heather Naquin (Russell) of Jonesboro, GA and Eric Dittmar (Kathleen) of Freeport, IL; his grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah Naquin of Jonesboro, GA, Madalynne and Jeremiah of Freeport, IL; and his sisters, Leslie Fagen of Rock Island, IL and Lori Troester (Larry) of Thomson, IL. He was also cherished by siblings-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (1993 W Church St, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established at Immanuel Lutheran Church and the LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry.
