He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ludwig and Betty Ludwig (Bocker); and his sister Beverly. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ludwig of Freeport; his children, Maida Parkins (David) of Wisconsin, Carrie Petty (Tim) of California and Christian Ludwig (Teresa) of California; his grandchildren, Niall, Maeve, Dain, Rhys Parkins, Kendall, Payton Petty and Bronsen Ludwig; and his brothers, Gary Ludwig (Connie) of Forreston and Jon Ludwig (Renee) of Forreston.
In lieu of flowers and memorial donations, Greg's family has requested friends do what he enjoyed most, offering up their time or monetary donation to help a local service group or assist an organization that focuses on children and their development.
