He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Ross and Marion Ross (McGuffin); his siblings, Judy Greenfield (Loran) and Brian Ross; his wife Judy Jones; his sons, Bradley (Crystal), Jason (Betty) and Eric (Karrie); and his grandchildren, Abigail, Blake, Carter and Xander.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (2700 W Stephenson St, Freeport, IL 61032). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
