He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Masunas and Bernice Masunas (Kishkunas). He is survived by: his wife Carmen Masunas; his children, Michael Masunas (Fonda), Joseph Masunas and Ann Ellanson; his grandchildren, Tabby, Kaylie Masunas, Alison Bafia and A. J. Biondo; and his sisters, Judy Oswald and Marilyn Cavanagh (Bob).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harmony United Methodist Church (2600 W Pearl City Rd, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established in his name for the American Cancer Society and Friends Forever Humane Society.
