He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dryer and Violet Wells (Andersen); his daughter Barbara Jean Wells; his brother Walter D. Wells II; his siblings-in-law, Hildegaard Wells, Donald Kehoe, John Kehoe, Gerald Kehoe and Rebecca Kehoe; and his pet Hobbes.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Wells (Kehoe); and his children, Karen Dougherty (Tim), Michael Wells (Teresa), Stephen Wells (Carl Ambruoso) and John Wells.
