He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Fryer and Esther Fryer (Kortman); his wife Sandy; his siblings, Ralph Fryer, Don Fryer and Doris Fisher; and his sisters-in-law, Harriet Fryer, Gayle Fryer and Elizabeth Maurer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelly Zuck (Kurt) and Stacy Warner (Kyle); his grandchildren, Aaron Zuck, Austin Zuck and Samantha Warner (Aaron Davis); his brothers, Gale Fryer (Mary) and Steve Fryer (Teresa); and his sisters-in-law, Karen Capone and Maridy Brinkmeier (Rex). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in his memory for Highland Community College Athletics.
