He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Knoll (Carl) and Jim Descourouez (Anita); his daughter Dana Descourouez Martinez (Muff); his significant other Cammie Descourouez; his children, Lance Descourouez (Shawn), Blair Descourouez (Melissa), Frank Descourouez, Jeanine Penticoff (Joel) and Joy St (Thomas); and also, Anthony Thomas Penticoff (Jessica), Matthew Thomas St (Amanda), Erin Michele Zunich (Jory), Rose Lynn Descourouez, Michael James St (Rachel), Megan Elyse Welborn (Robert), Mitchell Peter St. Andrews, Marc Allen St. Andrews, Andrew John Descourouez, Austen Maxwell Carnahan (Nicole), Alivea Carey Wagner (Cody), Mary Grace Descourouez, Russell Thomas Descourouez (Suzannah), Sydney Marie Descourouez, Emma Jean Descourouez, Haley Analyn Descourouez and Samuel Berke Descourouez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Dr. Descourouez's memory.
