It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane L. Blasing of Freeport, Illinois, born in Winslow, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Blasing and Thyre Blasing (Jensen); and his siblings, Marjorie, Paul, Daryl, Robert and Donald.

He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Wendy Boland, Linda Wean (James), Dawn Burden (Thomas), Donald Blasing (Lynnette), Michael Blasing, Jeanne Crocker (James), Laura Durham (Bernard), Steven Blasing (Amy) and Melody Babcock (Richard). He is also survived by nineteen great nieces and nephews; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in Duane's memory.
