It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lorraine Buttel of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Heiko J. Buttel and Kate Buttel (Mennenga); her siblings, Heye Buttel, Henry Buttel and Margaret Buttel; and her nephew Fred Buttel. She is also survived by two nephews, five nieces and special friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established for the Silver Creek Reformed Church in German Valley.
