It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna J. Scofield of Freeport, Illinois, born in Orangeville, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Elery Miller; her sisters, Joyce Ross and Betty Busjahn; and her grandson Terry Scofield. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Scofield (Lynne) of Freeport and Diane Samsel (Michael) of Rockford; her siblings, Arlene Geisel (Dale) of Normal, IL, Doris Keith (Gary) of Freeport and Robert Miller of Fairfield, IA.; her grandson Tim Scofield (Kirsten) of Baltimore, MA; and her great grandchild Ty Scofield of Freeport.

A memorial has been established in her name for the Friends Forever Humane Society of Freeport.
