He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Bolen and Rolland Bolen; his wife Elsie Dammann; and his siblings, Jean Zehr, Norland Bolen and Patricia Bolen.
He is survived by: his sister Vicki Warner (Jim); his children, Dave Bolen (Mary Beth) and Cindy Earnest (Brian); and his grandchildren, Jason Earnest, Angie Schreck, Dr. Kara Mote (Ryan) and Kendra Whitlock (Mark). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Masonic Temple in Freeport, Illinois.
