He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Isaac and Marie Isaac (Ilgen); his stepfather Lou Matter; his sister Catherine Haines (Walton); and his daughter Susan Maylahn (Isaac).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Poole (Poole); his children, George Isaac (Cindy) of Kalamazoo, Charles Isaac of Cumberland and Karen Moderow (Mark) of Freeport; his grandchildren, Adam Moderow (Juliet) of Freeport, Erich Moderow of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Elliott Isaac of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Meredith Isaac of East Lansing and Abigail Isaac of Cumberland; and his great grandchild Willow Moderow.
In remembrance of Don's life, the family asks for memorials to be directed to the Freeport High School Speech and Drama department (701 W. Moseley St, Freeport, IL), FHN Hospice (773 W. Lincoln Blvd Suite 402, Freeport, IL), and/or Grace Episcopal Church.
