He is survived by: his wife Alicia Hays (Feary); his son Joshua Hays (Trisha); his grandsons, Charles and Timothy; his son Wyatt Hays (Tracy); his grandchild Avelene; his daughter Sarah Welt (Jeremy); his siblings, William Hays (Marcy) of Naperville and Nancy Ocken (Randy) of Polo; and his brother-in-law Lon Feary. He is also survived by several nieces and several great-nieces and nephews.
