It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Banks of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on July 28, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oather Sr. Taylor and Ines Taylor (Williams); her husband Roosevelt "Bo" Banks; her siblings, Carolyn Maxine Edison and Carl Cecil Cain; and her stepdaughter Sandra Kay Banks.
She is survived by: her daughter Bethanne; her stepson Roosevelt "Crocket" Banks, Jr.; her granddaughters, Jasmine Holifield and Ashley Banks; her great grandchild Aliyah Yokeley; her niece Holly Jones; her grandson Amore Simpson; and her siblings, Beverly Taylor, Oather Taylor, Jr., Russell Taylor (Frances), David Taylor (Geri), Herbert Taylor (Deborah) and Mary Burris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
