He is survived by: his parents, Homer Meiers, and Katherine Meiers, Jr. (Bendick); his sisters, Debbie Long (Ken) of Freeport and Marcia Huff (Dave) of Forreston; and his nieces and nephews, Eric Long, Jason Long, Ryan Lee, Sarah Long and Heather Lee. He is also survived by two great nieces and one great nephew.
