Betty L. McKenna Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty L. McKenna of Freeport, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Michael and Edith Michael (Buss); her husband Dean McKenna; and her stepmother Jane. She is survived by: her children, Todd (Suzy Craft) of Freeport and Becky Pease (Scott) of Adams, Wis.; her grandchildren, Erin Pease and Brett Pease; and her sisters, Eleanor Getz of Freeport and Nancy McKenna (Jerry) of Lanark.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (229 W Washington Pl, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (2514 IL-26, Freeport, IL 61032).
A memorial has been established in Betty's memory for the Madonna Renewal Center in Freeport.
