She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Ackerman and Pearl Ackerman (Voss); her husband Samuel Kampen; and her brothers, Allan and Marion Ackerman.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Phyllis Ackerman of Freeport; her nieces and nephews, Larry Ackerman, Dwayne Ackerman, Mary Ackerman and Linda Graper; and her cousin Norma Jean Davis. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
A memorial has been established in Bernice's memory.
