It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin P. Mahoney of Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandmother Rosalie Turner; his brother Alan Quintos; his father Martin Mahoney; his grandparents, William Turner, Sefarina and Joseph Mahoney; and his cousins, Jennifer Huston and Scott Halbin.
He is survived by: his daughter Vega Oefelein; his mother Susan Ward; his brothers, Levi (Brittney), Dalton (Lindsey), Schnaider, Remy and Moises Ward; his nephew Zabi; and his cousins, Libby Irving, Abby Krueger, Heather Andrews, Kristen Janssen, Brian Turner, Daniel Turner and Christopher Oppold.
