With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlo G. Trickel of Freeport, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Trickel and Doris Trickel; his wife Carolyn Stahl; his parents-in-law, Henry and Ruth Stahl; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Peter, Steve Stahl and Gene Goodsell.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Trickel (Nicole) and Angie Trickel; his grandchildren, Erich Heinrich, Christopher Kaiser (Lenz), Cole Trickel and McKenzie Trickel; his great grandchildren, Lance and Athena Kaiser; and his sisters, Phyllis Goodsell (late Gene), Nancy Peter, Virginia (Joe Styron), Debbie Stahl, Diana Stahl and Joann (Mike Fane). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burke Tubbs Funeral Home - Freeport (504 N Walnut Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
