He was predeceased by: his parents, Filomeno Sua Petran and Candida Flores Librado. He is survived by: his wife Honorata Ferrolino Gerzon of Freeport; his sons, Rey (Evelyn Petran), Joe Glynis (Sandra Petran) of Freeport and Andre Oscar (Fredeswinda Petran) of Freeport, Illinois.; his sisters, Perla P. Lim, Rosalina P. Caberte and Rosabella P. Bennett; and his grandchildren, Grant and Glenn.
Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens and a memorial has been established in his honor.
