We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Alice Marie Schwichtenberg of Freeport, Illinois, born in Owatonna, Minnesota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Fischer and Luella Fischer (Krenke). She is survived by: her husband Willis Schwichtenberg; her children, Jonathan Schwichtenberg (Roselyn) of San Pedro, Jennifer Slechta (Kimberly Greenwood) of Carrollton, Jason Schwichtenberg (Michelle) of Bolingbrook and Jodee Lewis (Matthew) of Garner; her sisters, Shirley Yocopis (Bobbie) of Phoenix, AZ, Roselyn Imani of Sioux Falls, SD and Delaine Fischer of Owatonna, MN.; and her grandchildren, Daniel Slechta of Buchanan, Ethan, Noah Schwichtenberg of San Pedro, Emily and Nathaniel Lewis of Garner. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (1320 S Blackhawk Ave, Freeport, IL 61032). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Oakland Cemetery (2619 W Pearl City Rd, Freeport, IL 61032).
A memorial has been established in her memory in the name of Alice Schwichtenberg.
