She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Leroy and Lula Schanafelt Loomis; her husband Rex Vernon Egelston; her sons, Asa Loomis Egelston and Richard Vernon Egelston; and her siblings, Dorotha Loomis, Margaret Wheeler, Ena Williams Johnson, John Loomis and Earl Loomis.
She is survived by: her son Donald Rex; her daughter-in-law Elinor Egelston of Freeburg, Illinois; her grandchildren, Diane R. Johnson (Troy) of DeKalb, Denise R. Burkett (Jeffrey) of Neenah, Dawn R. Egelston (Michael Schmidt) of Newark, Chris Egelston (Robin) of Carterville and Victoria Mausey (Steve) of Arnold, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Kathleen Egelston of Carterville, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Daniel Burkett, Nicholas Burkett, Courtney Burkett, Adam Burkett, Katherine Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Kristin Johnson, Samuel Egelston Schmidt and Rachel Schmidt; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Sean Greenlee (Carol) and Sara Greenlee Craft (Ben); her sister-in-law Maurine Millies of Burlington, Wisconsin; and her nieces, Deanna Dent of Belleville and Linda Gudaitis. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
