He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy; his parents, Walter and Roxie; and his siblings, Jack Mirly, Betty Jaegles, Carolyn Huter and Magalee Mirly.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Mirly (Tom Schaefer), Sally Anderson (Tom) and Dr. Harvey Mirly; his grandchildren, Sarah Swedburg (Jonathan), Hannah Anderson, Jordan, Anna Kate and Noah Mirly; and his sister Laverne Ross. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
