He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Johnson and Ellen Johnson; and his siblings, James Hanna and Rosemary Switala. He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Reaka of Freeburg; his children, Teri Woodward, Laurie Lester (Orville), Carol Lewallen (Harvey) and Julie Slavens (Gregg); his stepson Mike Washausen; and his grandchildren, Jason Frentzel, Josh Johnson, Sam Woodward, Cassie Jet, Amber Reichmann, Carlene Lester, Kate Woodward, Cody Slavens, Kayla Slavens and Nicholas Brown. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, extended family and beloved friends.
