He was predeceased by: his former wife Helena; his siblings, Edward Beisiegel, Pearl Beisiegel, Anna Berkel (Fred) and Bertha Berkel (Phillip); and his niece Georgianna Schneider (Leroy).
He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Clare Wiskamp (David) of Freeburg, IL, Melvin F. Beisiegel Jr. (Darlene) of Freeburg, IL, Sharon Wiskamp (Dan) of Freeburg, IL and Mary Beisiegel; his stepchildren, David Eckert of New Athens, IL, Doris Brooks (Ray) of Portal, AZ and John Eckert (Judy) of Lenzburg, IL; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Miller, Sheldon Wiskamp (Donna), Angeline Garland (Joe), Michael Beisiegel (Toni), Sarah Biermann (Kyle), Jessica Wiskamp, Kimberly Wiskamp, Nathan Wiskamp (Kim Schwaegel-Wiskamp), Luke Wiskamp (Sarah), Donald Eckert, Joshua Eckert, Kristine Eckert (Robert), John Eckert (Kelsey), Cole Eckert and Amanda Eckert. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
