She was predeceased by: her son Donn Russell Smith; her parents, Edward and Olga; and her siblings, Elvira Gornick (Jack), Viola Goss (Milton), Lorena Groth, Florence Wiskamp (Harry), Marie Kessler (Dean), Orville Groth (Ruth) and Hilmar Groth (Ruth Ann).
She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Smith; her children, Marla Jean Smith of Freeburg, IL and Lee R. Smith (Rhonda) of Freeburg, IL; her grandson Edward Lee Smith; and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Groth of Freeburg, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
