It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavinia L. Chittenden of Freeburg, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on May 28, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lenard; her parents, Charles Rust and Anna Mae Rust (Kraus); and her sister-in-law Loretta Rains (Oliver). She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Sawyer (Chuck), Carol Carter (Dale), Rita Smith (Dave) and Betty Politsch (Ray). She is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
