James P. Thompson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, at the age of 70, James P. Thompson of Freeburg, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Maynard J. (Eleanor A.); his sister Barbara Rennie; and his brother-in-law Rod Leavitt. He is survived by: his wife Janet L.; his children, Christy Haas (Scott) of Mascoutah and David Thompson (Elisabeth) of Mascoutah; his grandchildren, Amber, Blake Haas, Megan and Cole Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Leavitt, Mike Leavitt (Jane) and Dave Rennie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
