He is survived by: his wife Miriam Boehm; his children, Ruth Vogel (Bryan) of Freeburg, IL, Peter Stemler (Lisa) of Wildwood, MO and Sarah Harms (James) of Freeburg, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew Vogel of Freeburg, IL, Catherine Rohlfing (Matt) of Rockwood, IL, Nicholas Stemler of Ballwin, MO, Rachel Stemler of Wildwood, MO and Cameron Harms of Freeburg, IL; and his siblings, Willis Stemler (Jan) of Waterloo, IL, Vernon Stemler (Angela) of Pacific, MO and Carol Johnson (Robert). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
