He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, David, Peggy Scheid and John Schweiger. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Richard Klann (Karen) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Ronald Klann (Lana) of Batavia, IL, Jennifer Hummert (Curtis) of Mascoutah, IL, Lisa Schlesinger (Keith) of Boonsboro, MD and Steven Klann of East Boston, MA; his grandchildren, Caitlin Klann, Thomas Klann (Kayla), Samuel Klann, Chelsi Hummert (Michael Lloyd), Mitchell Hummert, Carly Schlesinger (Jonathan Duke), Madalyn Schlesinger and Nicholas Klann; and his sisters, Marion Schweiger and Sharon Motes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Paul's UCC Renovation Fund.
