With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Garland of Freeburg, Illinois, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on April 8, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emiel and Mildred; and her siblings, Ethel Mehrmann, Elvera Morzinski and Robert Mehrmann.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Garland; her children, Victoria Staub (Michael) of Millstadt, IL, John Garland (Lisa Kokotovich) of Freeburg, IL and Joseph Garland (Angeline) of Belleville, IL; her grandchildren, Garret Garland, Elizabeth Staub, Mikaela Staub, Grace Staub, Ryan Garland, Payton Garland, Lilian Garland and Abbigail Garland; and her sisters, Mary Weldele of Millstadt, IL and Helen Mueller (Vernon) of Millstadt, IL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Standard CDC guidelines, including masks and social distancing and a limited number of visitors at any one time, will be observed.
Memorials may be made to Family Hospice or to St. Paul's Cemetery Perpetual Care.
