He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene Gertrude Vonderheide; his son Kent E. Vonderheide; his father Anthony (Bessie); and his siblings, Joan Clancy and Wayne Vonderheide.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Devin Vonderheide, Brock Vonderheide, Nicholas Vonderheide, Dimitri Vonderheide and Stefano Vonderheide; and his siblings, Ray Vonderheide (Lois) and Elaine Hartke (Barbara Hartke).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (6 N Alton St, Freeburg, IL 62243). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (6 N Alton St, Freeburg, IL 62243).
