The passing of Elizabeth Mecklenburg of Freeburg, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 60. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Wnuk and Helen Wnuk; and her sister Helen Rose Allen. She is survived by: her siblings, Nicholas Wnuk (Marilyn) and Laura Eichorn (Gary); her husband John Mecklenburg; her stepdaughter Lindsay Mecklenburg; her children, Sarah Weber (Richard) and Samuel Mecklenburg; her grandchildren, Russell and Winifred Weber; and her nephew Michael Joslin (Aida).

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lake View Funeral Home (5000 N Illinois St, Fairview Heights, IL 62208). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
