It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Espenschied of Freeburg, Illinois, born in Mascoutah, Illinois, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Philip A.; and his siblings, Allen, Erwin, Harvey, Oliver, Alvin Espenschied and Anita Espenschied.
He is survived by: his wife June A.; his children, Ellen Dickinson (Rachel Dorset) of Wilton, CT, Carl Espenschied of Walsh, IL, Neil Espenschied of Freeburg, IL and Dean Espenschied (Tana) of Monticello, IL; his grandchildren, Emma Espenschied, Will Espenschied, Haldan Dickinson and Quinn Dickinson; and his sister-in-law Betty Espenschied.
Memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ organ fund or to Family Hospice.
