The passing of Donna Stein of Freeburg, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Stein; her grandson James Tiberius Lake; her parents, Alfred J. (Adelia M.) and Wellenkotter; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Kasper (Joseph), Jane Higgins, Lola McCarver, Celeste Sue Stein and Phyllis Stein.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Stein (Ramona) of Clermont, FL. and Michelle Kujawa-Lake of Oak Point, Texas; her grandchildren, Connor Stein (Jillian), Nicholas Kujawa, Carmen Stein, Riley Kujawa, Taylor Kujawa, Ian Lake, Elara Lake and Jocelyn Kujawa; and her brother Carl (Skip). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the George Renner and Sons Funeral Home (206 S Richland St, Freeburg, IL 62243). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or to Family Hospice of Belleville, IL.
