He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Christine" Reiniger; his son Paul; his parents, Leo W. and Nellie; and his siblings, Mildred Theis (George), Norma Gyon (William), Mary Catherine Homoky (Louis), Leo Reiniger, Jr. and Vernon Reiniger.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Sprung (Skip), Karen Badgley (Todd), David Reiniger and Susan Howell (Ryan); his grandchildren, Christine (Devin), Kyle, Kelly, Elle, Holly, Tara (Ryan), Megan and Katie; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Evelyn and Camden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Humane Society in honor of his love for his loyal companions.
