We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2022, at the age of 85, Carol Brueggemann of Freeburg, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Clausen and Irene Clausen; her husband Ed Brueggemann; her brother Terry Clausen; her daughter Lisa Brueggemann Salvatore; and her corgi Peanut.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Weik (Jeff) and Mark Brueggemann; her grandchildren, Holly, Joanna, Abby and Eric; and her great grandchild Auggie. She is also survived by brother-in-law, Sep (Sally) Brueggemann; nieces, nephews; and many friends.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, the Belleville Area Humane Society, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
