It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anastasia Wilma Mezo of Freeburg, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Levy and Elmira May Levy; her son Joseph Mezo; her parents-in-law, Andrew Mezo (Bill) and Gladys Mezo; and her son-in-law Rodney Rogers.
She is survived by: her husband Teddy Mezo; her children, Donna Heth, Don Mezo (Tammy), Margaret Rogers, Ron Mezo (Dennis Gomes) and Melissa Beiter (Denny); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Bell. She is also survived by grandchildren; (20) great-grandchildren, (1) great-great grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, many extended family members, friends, and wonderful neighbors.
She still met with St. Cyril's Ladies Guild prior to Covid; and served as the President of St. Cyril PTA for many years.
