He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Herman and Tilpha Florence Mohlenbruck (Dodds); his former wife Audrey Fay Anderson; his spouse Shirley Mathewson (Hendricks); and his siblings, Ila Weishaar, Etha Stambaugh and Sam Mohlenbruck.
He is survived by: his children, Rudy Mohlenbruck, Katy Murphy and Debra Tomhave (Ben); his grandchildren, Morgan Ryan (Dan), Luke Murphy (Jessica), Matt Murphy, Quin Lauderback and Anderson Tomhave; his stepgrandchildren, Wilson and Madie Tomhave; his stepsons, Tony Mathewson (Linda) and Rick Mathewson; his stepgrandchildren, David Mathewson (Jesse), Chris Mathewson, Donna Mathewson, Drew and Marcy Mathewson; and his siblings, Freida Walker, Wilma Brown and Richard Mohlenbruck. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
