He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charles and Lillian Peifer Knuth; and his brother John Knuth. He is survived by: his spouse Mabel Krems; his stepsons, Randy Smith, Lester Smith and Steve Smith; and his brother Eugene Knuth. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
