He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Burke and Vivian J. Craddock Burke; and his brother Martin "Marty" D. Burke. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Reed; and his daughters, Sarah, Cynthia and Kathryn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
