It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Erna Weigt (Franklin Park, Illinois), who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Hans Weigt; her children, John Weigt (Joanne), Nancy Wayton (late Rick), Jim Weigt (Diane Nardini) and Jeff Weigt (Karen); her grandchildren, Justin Weigt, Jordan Weigt (Jenna), Brian Wayton (Lorelie), Eric Wayton (Shari), Valerie Heiss (Jason), Lauren Weigt (Michael Cawley), Jeremiah Rohr (Amberly) and Kayla Weigt; her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Sawyer Weigt of Adeline Weigt, E. J., Tony Wayton, Kayden, Colby Heiss, Jaxon, Ashton, Abel Rohr and Madison Weigt; her sister Gertrude Benton (Charles); and her brother-in-law Werner Weigt (Ann). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews and loving friends.
