With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E. Houck (Franklin Grove, Illinois), born in Rock Falls, Illinois, who passed away on June 21, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Houck and Sadie Houck (Farster); and his sisters, Mary, Darlene, Dorothy, Janet and Pat.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn O'Laughlin (Tim) of Amboy and Susan Clark (Josh) of Lafayette; his siblings, Phyllis Wittenauer of Amboy, Cheryl Shetler (Vern) of Polo, Wilmer "Bill" Houck of Sterling, Donald Houck of Dixon, Walter Houck (Sandy) of Roscoe and Dennis Houck of Polo; his granddaughters, Sadie Kay O'Laughlin and Vivian O'Laughlin; and also Ruth Marshall.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
