He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Roop and Marjorie Roop (Morrison); and his siblings, D. Kenneth Roop and Bonnie Kincaid. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Roop of Franklin Grove; his sons, John Keith Roop Jr. (Denise) of Minooka, James Bradley Roop (Meg) of Hawthorne Woods and Jeff Roop (Diane) of Franklin Grove, IL; his grandchildren, Taylor Roop, Alex Roop, Allison Perez (Mike), Amanda Stucky (Matt), Michael Roop (Dimitra), Brandon Roop (Brandy), Eric Roop (Jessica) and Cory Roop (Jennifer); and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Drew, Christian, Evelynn, Jackson, Konstantinos "Dino", Braxton, Braden, Braley, Emersen, Dexter and Josephine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
