It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Moorehead in Franklin Grove, Illinois, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Irvin and Gertrude Moorehead (Town); his wife Marjorie "Marnie" White; his great grandchild John Paul Villegas; his great great grandchild Maddox Rodriguez; and his siblings, Richard Moorehead, Roger Moorehead and Mickey Prentice.
He is survived by: his children, James "Butch" Moorehead (Cindy) of Rock Falls, IL and Cherrie Schultz of St. Louis, MO; and his grandchildren, Kris Kilian (Allan), Korin Dankl (Karl), James T. Moorehead, Timothy Moorehead (Wendy), Lory Moore, Lonna Lira (Dave), Kellie Schroeder (Denny) and Troy Slusser. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.
The burial will be for the family only, with a celebration of life at a later date due to the Covid virus.
Memorials may be made in Jim's memory to The Rochelle United Methodist Church.
