It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Lyle Risdon of Franklin Grove, Illinois, born in Erie, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theadore Lyle Risdon and Augusta Mildred Risdon (Scheffler); his siblings, Norris, Robert (Mary), Bernice Potts (Bob) and Lavon Emmert (Merle); his grandson Kyle Steven; his daughter-in-law Christine Risdon; and his nephews, Baird Risdon and David Emmert.
He is survived by: his wife LeVaun; his sons, Randy (Suzanne), Steven (Diane) and James (Daphne); his grandsons, Zachary (Elizabeth) and Matthew; his great grandchild Ellinor; his nieces, Martha Ann Anderson (Tom) and Judie Emmert; and his nephew Barton Emmert (Bonnie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Wildlife Association and/or the Franklin Grove Fire Department.
