She was predeceased by: her sister Marion. She is survived by: her spouse Eugene William Eckhardt; her children, David Eckhardt (Betsy) and Mary Mercado (Hoover); her grandchildren, Steve Eckhardt (Ann), Stacey Gilbert (Nick), Scott Eckhardt (Abby), Andrew Mercado and Mark Mercado; and her great grandchildren, Alexis, Zachary, Madison Eckhardt and James Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Eunice's memory to Unity Hospice.
