It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Echelbarger of Franklin Grove, Illinois, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Echelbarger and Hannah Echelbarger (Essex); his grandson Gavin; and his brothers, Ralph Echelbarger and Rodney Echelbarger.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Echelbarger of Franklin Grove; his children, Dr. Lee Echelbarger (Jodi) of North Barrington, Desa Echelbarger of Franklin Grove and Darcy Spence (Chuck) of Forreston; his grandchildren, Alec, Cara, Sawyer and Max; his brothers, David Echelbarger of Rochelle and Roger Echelbarger (Rose) of Merrill, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Engelkes, Barb Shankel (Randy), Billie Heier (Doug) and Vi Echelbarger.
Due to the covid-19 pandemic a celebration of Dennis' well lived life will be held at a later date.
