It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael James Derrig of Frankfort, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Derrig and Alice Derrig; his parents-in-law, Donald (Ziggy) and Lorraine Zier; and his niece Lindsay Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen L. Derrig; his children, Craig M. Derrig of Chicago and Kristin L. McWilliams (Ryan) of Manhattan; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jace, Seth and Peyton McWilliams; his sisters, Patricia Jensen (Jim) and Gayle Valy (Dennis); his aunt Ruth Horras (late Jim); his siblings-in-law, Carol Zier and Ronald Zier (Nancy); and his pet Bella. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
