He is survived by: his wife Carole Padgett Ellis; his children, John Ellis (Karen), Eileen A. Ellis, Tom Ellis (Leah), Elizabeth Simek (Brad), Annemarie Reiser (Greg) and Michael Ellis; his stepchildren, Kim Sterne and Douglas Padgett (Lora); his grandchildren, Kevin Sterne, Elizabeth Sterne, Kathleen O'Keefe, Andrew O'Keefe, Tara Guerrero (Cameron), Melanie Boal (Ryan), Kate Ellis, Ciara Ellis, Kelli Ellis, John Ellis, Ella Reiser, Jack Reiser, Graham Reiser, Audrey Reiser, Maya Ellis, Hannah Ellis, Krista Benni-Ellis and Bennett Simek; his great grandchildren, Tommy Boal, Linny Boal and Colton Guerrero; and his former wife Anne Marie Ellis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
